Prospective Kindergarten and KinderKids Parents
You are invited to our “Getting To Know Your Child” one hour visitation time to be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Johnson Elementary School. This is a district in-service day so there will not be classes for students in Spencer. For this day, principals and teachers will be present to give you handouts and answer your questions about our Kindergarten programs.

Spencer Community Schools announces that there will be an early dismissal on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 12:30 P.M. for teacher inservice.

District Retirement Reception on May 23
Spencer Schools will host a retirement coffee for retirees, Rick Dupic, Mary Frank, Kae Roti & Stevie Shively on Monday, May 23rd, from 3:45 to 5:30 P.M. at the District's Central Office, 23 East 7th Street. The public is invited to attend. There will be a short program at 4:30. |

The Spencer Community School District Board of Education is initiating a search for a new superintendent. The Board has retained the Else Leadership Group to facilitate the search process and would like to invite you to take part in this important endeavor.
The Else Leadership Group will be meeting with community groups on Wednesday, March 2nd. The goal of this meeting is to build consensus on the qualities that school community members more desire in a superintendent. Board members ... |
