Program Philosophy:

Our program philosophy fits the district's mission. That mission includes providing the "safe and nurturing environment where all students will develop maximum knowledge, skills, and abilities to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens" The mission is complete with a vision: "a child-centered education where everyone learns." Our school is where educators "embrace the highest expectations to achieve academic excellence through a rich, challenging curriculum." The district's long-term goals include providing a positive climate where high expectations for success are set for all, while allowing for the needs and individual differences of learners." To these ends, the Spencer TAG program is geared.

4. To pursue a variety of options for testing at the secondary level

5. To encourage administration to further develop TAG program needs at the middle school such that both the academic, cognitive, and affective needs of this age student can better be met
